A few evenings ago, I drove myself and little miss baby to Warmley to embark on the first of what I plan to be a series of railway walks. I parked the car close to the signal box and set myself the challenge of getting to the next station and back. Warmley station marked the start of the walk. Not sure why, but I didn't take a photo of the station. Wish I had now. It has some evocative silhouettes of commuters standing on the old platforms. Friday before last, we trogged down to Minehead. After a wrong turn that took us off course for about 30 miles, we finally arrived.

Earlier this month, off we went to the beach. Severn Beach that is. Not quite a "buckets and spades" beach, but pleasant nonetheless.

Well, an advert I placed in the Trade-It last week for a sofa I no longer need certainly generated a lot of interest. Having placed it in the "free to collector" section, I've had of the order 10 calls. The end result, sadly, is, as yet, not so positive.
